How can I test my fertility at home?

Starting treatment with Optimale
What do I need to start treatment?
You will need:
Two low testosterone blood test results with one test to include the values on our enhanced blood test (lipids, haematocrit, haemoglobin) and PSA for men over the age of 45.
Your first blood test can be our simple testosterone blood test.
A clear prostate examination is required for men over the age of 45. This can be performed in a face to face consultation with one of our doctors, or we can accept evidence of a recent clear prostate examination from your GP.
A consultation with one of our doctors.
Why use other medications on TRT?
Why do we recommend HCG on TRT?
HCG maintains testicular size, testosterone production, sperm production/fertility and regulates other hormonal pathways.
Are Aromatase inhibitors needed on TRT?
Not always. We aim to not use AIs if possible but some men do require them as they convert more testosterone to oestrogen for genetic reasons or due to carrying more bodyfat.
When is tamoxifen needed on TRT?
In rare cases, a man may be susceptible to gyneacomastia. If this becomes an issue which isn’t sorted with dose changes or AIs then tamoxifen may be used for very short periods of time.
What is the difference between cypionate and enanthate?
Cypionate has a slightly longer half-life than enanthate and comes in a thinner oil which is easier to inject. It also uses an oil with less benzyl alcohol which means it stings less and is better tolerated with subcutaneous injections.
Enanthate has a slightly shorter half-life (released more quickly into the body) and comes in a slightly thicker oil.
Stopping TRT
Can I stop TRT?
You can stop TRT but you will not continue to see the benefits after stopping. Using HCG whilst on TRT will make it easier to stop without losing your natural production.
